On Mar. 13, the First Circuit Court of Appeals overturned a lower-court ruling and held that drivers at the Oakhurst Dairy in Portland, Maine, were eligible for overtime pay.

    IBEW & AT&T to Begin Bargaining Talks
    03/21/17 - International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local Union 21
    March 21, 2017 – Today the IBEW System Council T-3 (IBEW SCT-3) and AT&T agreed to begin “early bargaining" to renegotiate their collective bargaining agreement that is set to expire on June 24, 2017.  The agreement covers employees working for the company across the United States with the majority working in Illinois and Northwest Indiana. Bargaining will officially open tomorrow March 22, 2017. These will be challenging negotiations. All IBEW members should be prepared to do their part to support their bargaining team. Updates on bargaining will only be released when necessary.

    New National Contract Formed at GE/Haier

    Mar 21, 2017 - Teamsters 89 recently worked alongside other Teamster Locals as well as five other International Unions across the United States to negotiate a brand new National Contract with GE/Haier. This new National Contract was overwhelmingly ratified by the Teamsters, as well as the other unions represented by the agreement, and will run through June of 2020.
